The mighty boosh had a massive turnout, I spent my time dodging knickers in the pit and having never even watched the ‘hit’ comedy show, wondering what the fuss was all about.
I soon found out, silly costumes beginning with the lads coming onto the stage dressed as grannies complete with powdered wigs and a robot with a pop out penis made out of what appeared to be plastic cups.
The screams were deafening and when Noel Fielding pulled off his wig it all made sense why all of these teen queens were losing it, it wasn’t the music, or the costumes, it was his model stature and boyband smile, emoish hair cut and flirty quips. He is a mix between Pete Doherty, Mick Jagger and a Hollyoaks actor/ E4 presenter…
There were giggles all round and apart from the screams the whole affair was painless.
Later on in the comedy tent, I caught an attempt at the boosh acting as compere, they weren’t really funny at all, they are the kind of act that are better with the rehearsed shiz.
